July 7th, 2017: A hurricane-like storm rages through northwestern Lower Saxony at over 100 km/h, leaving a trail of devastation. Even massive courtyard oaks, some of which are over 100 years old, are uprooted.
A day that Goldenstedt will remember for a long time. It became the birthplace of these distinctive FENNEN design doors. Unique pieces for your entrance area that we create from this storm-felled oak. Their charisma: primal, rough, and brittle. They have something wild about them, like the untamed storm of the past.

As a master of his craft, his most passionate interest is wood – and everything that can be made from it. Thus, the planks of the storm oaks are tested for suitability piece by piece and assembled into a large overall work of art for the front-end design.
To achieve unusual results, Andreas likes to develop special processing methods in his daily challenges. With his team, he repeatedly creates new masterpieces that deserve to be presented on a FENNEN.
